The respect of human rights is a commitment and continuous focal area for Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 and the Mozambique LNG Project.

We want to ensure that human rights are considered in everything we do, including with respect to our workforce, local communities and security and have therefore established a dedicated human rights workstream working across all functional areas of the business.

TotalEnergies E&P Mozambique Area 1 is committed to ongoing reporting of progress and challenges regarding the human rights workstream and will engage with external stakeholders to promote awareness, understanding and a continuous dialogue.

Human Rights

The Project updated the human rights due diligence in 2020.

Subsequently a HRDD Action Plan has been developed and the Project is working to implement recommended actions whilst also ensuring continuous ongoing assessment. TEPMA1 will strengthen its human rights process thanks to an ongoing multi-stakeholders dialogue and partnerships with relevant actors. TEPMA1 is committed to provide regular reports on progress and challenges.
