As part of on-going environmental and social assessments, we conducted a human rights impact assessment (HRIA) in 2015. The HRIA identified four key risk areas, namely labor and supply chain, security, land and resettlement and grievance redress and access to justice. The mitigation of identified risks is embedded in project-related management plans, including the industrial relations handbook, the security plan, the resettlement plan and the stakeholder engagement plan, which includes the community grievance mechanism.

The Project is reviewing and updating the HRIA including with respect to the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR), and other social performance matters.
